How Art is Impacting the War in Ukraine

an update on our Ukrainian Art Auction

Earlier this year, we hosted an auction of 13 pieces of original artwork by young Ukrainian artists from the Lutsk Art School in Lutsk, Ukraine.

So many of you participated in the auction and helped us successfully auction off all 13 pieces, raising a total of $4,485!

Just last week, we received an email from Vira Konska, Director of the art school, who shared that the Students chose to donate all auction proceeds to their local Ukrainian Army unit to purchase a van for transport!

The van, which will be used for civilian evacuation and soldier transport, was presented to Army Captain Oleksandr Kravchenko, in late May at the art school.

Thank you to everyone who participated in the auction. Your support of these young talents and their school has made a positive impact!

And if you didn’t have the winning bid (or if you did and want to expand your Ukrainian art collection) - stay tuned!

We’re working with the art school to host another art auction later this Summer/Fall!

watch this 90-second recap of this entire art effort!

A special Thanks to our friends and Partners at Bullseye Auctions & Appraisals and The Bridge Church for hosting the auction and wrangling logistics of art transport.
