Summer Update 2025

When we started The IBC in 2022, we knew we wanted to be an organization that would be more than a flash in the pan when crisis strikes.

We wanted to be a reliable, trustworthy partner to those we helped, not only during the height of headlines, but in the long-term when headlines fade and those in need begin to wonder if they’ve been forgotten.  We knew then what we are even more assured of now, that the value of hope is priceless.

And so, almost 3 years into this work, we are so grateful to be able to provide updates, like this one, and share that we’re able to continue supporting our partners because of the continued partnership you share with us.

UKRAINE

In the simplest of terms, the need for humanitarian aid and financial assistance in Ukraine remains great.  While talks of peace and cease-fires encircle presidential hallways and global news outlets, brave men and women sit in trenches on the front line, families still race to shelters when sirens blare, and an entire population sits on edge wondering what comes next.

As our partner in Ukraine, The Ukrainian Dream, recently shared, people are exhausted.  Yana, one of the leads at TUD, explained further,

“They [men on the front line] are very tired and exhausted.  When I hug them, their bones are so thin and their eyes burn.  We don’t know how they are holding on, we just pray that they are alive!  You help us hold them and their faith - that they are not alone, but the world is with them!”

In May 2025, we delivered much needed funding to TUD to continue providing MREs and other essential items to these brave individuals and, as Yana said, giving them the most valuable gift, the reminder they’re not alone.

HOW YOU CAN HELP:

Our goal is to provide another swath of financial support by year-end 2025 so that TUD can continue providing MREs to those on the front lines. Your donation to our Ukraine fund helps us reach that goal, so join us and CLICK HERE TO SUPPORT UKRAINE TODAY!

POLAND

Under the umbrella of our Ukraine Mission is our work in Poland to support Ukrainian refugees living in and around the border town of Lublin.

From the moment our feet touched Polish soil in 2022, we partnered with God’s Light Church in Lublin to meet the basic needs of refugees through the provision of food, clothing, and benevolence assistance.  We stood amazed at the deftness of Pastor Igor Buben and his team as they helped hundreds of families and individuals find their way in the chaos of being forced into a new life path as a refugee.  We witnessed grace and love personified through acts of service, big and small, and saw firsthand the impact that your financial support made in the individual lives of people forced to flee their homes.

Pastor Igor continues his work with the Ukrainian community in Lublin, transitioning his focus on assimilation and ongoing support services for those who now call Poland home. Theirs is a success story of our mission and we’ve been honored to be their partner.

HOW YOU CAN HELP:

As of July 2025, God’s Light Church is in need of financial support to renew their lease of church facilities, so that they may continue their support of Ukrainian refugees in their area. Your donation for Poland will be directed to Pastor Igor and his team. CLICK HERE TO SUPPORT POLAND!

LEBANON

In November 2023 we partnered with Refugee Relief and launched our Syrian Refugee Food Voucher program to provide support for Syrian Refugees in Beirut, Lebanon.  Through this partnership we have provided food vouchers to over 200 Syrian families.

However, because of the ongoing violence and instability in the region, we had to pause these efforts.  We know there is great need for humanitarian aid in this area, and will continue to explore safe, sustainable opportunities to help where we can.
