This IBC Spotlight issue highlights the IBC's new Co-Directors of Social Enterprise, Evan Lintz and Tim Rann

Evan Lintz

Evan Lintz graduated from the University of Notre Dame in January of 2009 with degrees in electrical engineering and economics.  While at Notre Dame, he was actively involved in the Student International Business Council holding the positions of Director of Business Consulting, Strategic Planning Chair, and President.  Additionally, he participated in an SIBC internship at an international trading company in Bangkok, Thailand (Siam Cement Trading).  Besides interning at Siam Cement, Evan also interned at the C.I.A., Motorola, and J.P. Morgan while enrolled at Notre Dame.  Graduating early and taking the Spring 2009 semester off, Evan recently traveled around Thailand and Hong Kong for two months.  He will begin working as an analyst at J.P. Morgan in Chicago beginning later this month.  Besides serving as a Director of Social Enterprise for the IBC, Evan is also a member of the Board of Directors for Lucca Leadership North America.

Tim Rann

Tim graduated from the University of Notre Dame in 2007 with a Bachelor of Business Administration and Asian Studies.  For nearly five years, he has lived and worked in Asia .  His experiences include teaching English in Thailand, consulting for Hydrologic Health, serving as the CFO for Pepy, and completing an intensive intermediate Japanese language course in Nagoya.

He has been living in Phnom Penh, Cambodia for two years and has worked with a variety of startup and established social enterprises in the microfinance, sustainable tourism, agriculture, and capacity-building sectors.  Tim is currently the Social Enterprise Development Manager at Hagar Social Enterprise Group.
