Biographies
Tim Keller - President
Tim is currently a consultant at Katzenbach Partners specializing in strategy and organizational behavior. In his most recent study he advised an energy client on competitive dynamics and uncertainty in deregulated environments. Previous to KPL, Tim spent two years as Digital Divide Data’s (DDD) first President establishing the company in Cambodia. DDD is a social enterprise which utilizes a sustainable IT outsourcing model to benefit some of the world’s most disadvantaged people. DDD has over 200 employees and was ranked by Fast Company magazine as a global Top Innovator. Prior to that, Tim worked as an investment banking analyst with Credit Suisse First Boston where he focused on distressed debt and energy technology M&A. He has interned with Honeywell in Moscow, Russia and the U.S. Senate in Washington DC. Tim studied art history and public policy at the University of Notre Dame. Tim also earned his MBA with distinction from Harvard Business School.
Ryan Kerrigan - Chairman
Ryan Kerrigan is President of TL Fabrications, LP, a 24-year old steel fabrications company providing structural steel and ornamental iron to Southern California’s largest residential builders. Ryan, with two outside investors, acquired the company in early 2002. Prior to TL Fabrications, he advised Fortune 500 executives on strategic and operational issues at McKinsey & Company. Ryan graduated summa cum laude from the University of Notre Dame in 1995 and has earned graduate degrees from Georgetown University (MSFS, 1998) and Stanford University (MBA, 2002).
Chris Seidensticker - Vice President of Operations
Chris runs finance for ESTECH Cardiac Surgery Specialists, a medical device start up that provides the cardiac surgeon innovative technology that ensures reproducible surgical outcomes and makes challenging procedures easier to perform. Prior to ESTECH, Chris worked in Finance and Strategy for Siebel Systems and Baxter Healthcare. Chris graduated Cum Laude from the University of Notre Dame with a degree in Finance and Psychology. He also holds an MBA from the University of Chicago Graduate School of Business.
Jenifer Hayob - Vice President of Social Enterprise
Jenifer is a Consultant at The Cambridge Group in Chicago, a management consulting firm that focuses on growth strategy for consumer-based businesses. Prior to joining The Cambridge Group, Jenifer was an Associate Brand Manager at SC Johnson & Son, Inc. where she managed the Glade PlugIns Scented Oil Brand and launched Glade GlassScents. Jenifer was an Associate at The Boston Consulting Group prior to joining SCJ. Jenifer graduated Summa Cum Laude from the University of Notre Dame and recently obtained her MBA from INSEAD, located in France and Singapore.
Megan McPherson - Vice President of University Relations
Megan is currently an Analyst with KeyBanc Capital Markets' Industrial Group in Cleveland. She is also the Young Alumni Coordinator for the Notre Dame Alumni Club of Cleveland. She received her undergraduate degree from the University of Notre Dame.
Molly Buser - Secretary
Molly recently relocated from Bangkok, Thailand to Boston. In Thailand, Molly volunteered in Private Sector Fundraising for the United Nations World Food Programme. She also helped teach English at Night Light, a center providing alternative employment to women who left the sex industry. During her time in Asia, she represented the IBC in Cambodia at a re-branding workshop for the microfinance institution, Credit. Prior to living in Bangkok, Molly worked as an auditor for PricewaterhouseCoopers in Chicago. Molly graduated from the University of Notre Dame with a Masters in Accountancy, Cum Laude, and undergraduate degrees in Finance and Spanish, Magna Cum Laude.
Rick Rembusch - Treasurer
Rick is currently a Senior Portfolio Accountant at Digital Realty Trust in San Francisco, overseeing Digital's European real estate holdings and assisting in various projects for the corporate accounting department. Digital is a real estate investment trust that invests in technology property such as data centers. Prior to Digital, Rick worked for 7 years at the public accounting firms Katz, Sapper, & Miller and Deloitte and Touche in Indianapolis, Indiana. He is a certified public accountant with licensure in Indiana and pending licensure in California. He graduated in 1997 from the University of Notre Dame with a BBA in accountancy.
Benjamin Gray - Director
In 2003, Benjamin formally launched and secured initial funding for The International Business Council. Previously, Benjamin spent four years in investment banking at Robert W. Baird & Co, where he focused on M&A transactions and also led aspects of Baird's merger integration with a European investment bank. In addition, Benjamin worked for the U.S. federal government, where he assessed illicit foreign financial activity affecting U.S. security interests including money laundering and corruption, networks used by terrorist and organized criminal groups as well as the financing and procurement of WMD. Most recently, at the Department of Homeland Security he led as Acting Director a broad-based interagency task force comprised of national leaders from the nonprofit, public and private sectors to produce a national "weapons of mass effect" prevention strategy. Benjamin is currently pursuing concurrent MBA and MPA graduate degrees at Harvard Business School and the John F. Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University, respectively. He graduated cum laude in 1998 from the University of Notre Dame with a BBA in Finance and Business Economics.
Paul Shinn - Director
Paul Shinn is a corporate attorney with Wilson Sonsini Goodrich and Rosati in San Francisco, California. Paul's practice focuses on a wide variety of corporate, securities, and related matters for technology companies at all stages of growth. He represents clients ranging from entrepreneurs to Fortune 500 companies on mergers and acquisitions, strategic alliances, public debt and equity offerings, venture capital finance, the structuring of start-up companies, and other matters. His clients have included public and start-up companies and investment banks. Paul joined Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati as an associate in 1997 and has been practicing corporate and securities law since 1995. Paul graduated from the University of Notre Dame in 1992 and received his Juris Doctor from Santa Clara University in 1995.
David Willson - Director (M&T Foundation)
Dave currently serves as a Vice President at M&T Trust where he runs the Trust's operations and sits on its investment team. Dave is also a member and director on the board of the M&T Foundation, a benefactor of the International Business Council. Dave graduated from the University of Notre Dame with a B.B.A. in Finance and will be pursuing his MBA at the University of Southern California beginning in 2006.
Brian McMullen - Director (M&T Foundation)
Brian spent several years working for H.I.G. Capital, a leading private equity firm based in Miami, Florida, as a Senior Associate where he worked on management buyouts, industry consolidations, corporate divestitures and recapitalizations. Previously, Brian worked in the Investment Banking group of Credit Suisse First Boston in Chicago. He has also worked in the Strategic Planning group of The Advisory Board Company and as a member of the Emerging Growth portfolio management team at Nicholas-Applegate Capital Management. Brian graduated with a B.B.A. from the University of Notre Dame. He is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) charterholder. Brian is currently pursuing an MBA at The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania and an MSE at the University of Pennsylvania. Following completion of his academic programs, Brian will return to H.I.G. Capital in Miami in 2006.
Mike Boyle - Auditor
Mike Boyle is Principal and Founder of MB Advisors (www.mb-advisors.com), a boutique management consultancy based in Atlanta. As such, Mike helps CEO’s and business owners address key business challenges. He holds an MBA from Harvard Business School and a BA in Economics and Japanese Language from the University of Notre Dame.
