Mission:
To provide quality and timely work for the Board of the IBC, Liaisons of the University Relations Division (UR), and boards/advisors of the respective SIBCs.
Quality assurance will be based on frequent communication with Executive Director, Jake Roffman (past UR Director) and Liaisons at different universities. Through constant communication, quality of work will be assured due to the involvement of all three key components. The IBC Board, SIBC, and UR Division. Frequency and modes of communication is outlined in the University Relations Operating Plan.
Goals:
Divisional Goals:
- Successfully implement Liaison program within the UR Division
- To meet 90% of the points outlined in the first 100 days of the Division (which is a separate document)
- Harness the full communication potential of the Division's website
SIBC Goals:
- Reach out to all three school boards in a meaningful way that fosters fellowship between myself and the boards
- Successfully implement and operate the Liaison program so that the following will be accomplished:
- Program will give the IBC a face to each SIBC board
- Liaison will provide easy flow of information between the SIBC and IBC
- Structure the program in a fashion where future UR Directors and Liaisons will be able to enter the program with great ease
Personal Goals:
- Increase IBC membership from SIBC programs 20% (based on 2008 membership data)
- Be available to all Boards (IBC and SIBC) for all events scheduled with my attendance be it conference calls, on-campus visits, Bi-annual IBC Summits, etc.
- Increase my personal knowledge and understanding of the fabrics of the mantra Peace Through Commerce by further understanding of the history of the SIBC, IBC, and set visions, I will be in a better position to succeed
- Cultivate healthy professional relationships with each liaison, and be able to put each liaison in a position to succeed at their job while also giving them the opportunity to increase their own personal knowledge and experience
